Mortar + Moss is rooted in a Georgian house in the English countryside.

Its walls, panelling, and quiet corners shape everything we do — not as a backdrop, but as an active presence. This is a place lived with slowly, where texture, age, and proportion matter.

Our focus is on objects. We seek out vessels and forms that carry weight and history - stoneware, pottery, and found pieces marked by time and material. Each is chosen for what it holds already, and for how it sits within a space.

Some objects remain just that. Others are reimagined, becoming vessels for scent, light, or use - always guided by the character of the house itself.
