This vintage hand-thrown stoneware vessel, with natural marbled clay patterning, is one of one. You may keep it as an object in its own right, or choose to have it reimagined as a hand-poured candle in our studio.

How it works.

1. Select Vessel Only if you wish to own the piece as an object.
2. Select Vessel with Candle Fill to have it hand-poured to order in our studio.
3. Choose your scent — Midnight Ember, Panelled Oud, or Walled Garden — and we will create a bespoke candle for you in this vessel.

• Midnight Ember — Dark evenings by the log burner: smoke, spice, and quiet warmth. A scent of stillness and slow retreat.
• Panelled Oud — The richness of timeworn wood panelling: resins, shadows, and atmosphere. Grounding and complex.
• Walled Garden — Life enclosed within stone walls: rose, geranium, herbs, and industrious summer air. Fresh, floral, and proud.

When the candle is finished, the vessel remains. Every Mortar + Moss piece is designed to continue its life — as a cup, pot, or object for the home — carrying its story forward.
